Practice is an extraordinary journey, encompassing our relationships with others and ourselves, our physical existence on this planet, our response to suffering and challenges, and our capacity for joy and spiritual ecstasy. Using the grounded methodology of Jivamukti Yoga, itself a Raja Yoga form, Jeremy and Amanda will lead students through the five tenets of Jivamukti Yoga (Bhakti/Devotion, Ahimsa/Non-Violence, Dhyana/Meditation, Shastra/Scripture, Nada/Sound) in a mini-immersion which will include chanting, yoga philosophy, dynamic physical practice with hands on assists, meditation, and deep rest.
Jeremy and Amanda have a combined 45 years of teaching experience between them, and practiced for many years directly with their teachers Sharon Gannon, David Life, and Ruth Lauer Manenti. They chat, dissect, and argue about yoga philosophy daily, and try, often haltingly, to put the principles of yoga into play as parents and partners.
The cost of this workshop is $60.
