Preserving the Legacy: Iwama Aikido International Seminar (at Aikido By The Bay)
Train with two direct students of Morihiro Saito Shihan—Lewis Bernaldo de Quirós (7th Dan Aikikai) and Hoa Newens (7th Dan Aikikai)—for ‘Preserving the Legacy,’ a three-day international seminar dedicated to authentic Iwama Aikido! Taking place from Friday, September 18th through Sunday, September 20th at Aikido By The Bay (811 S B Street, San Mateo), this immersive seminar covers traditional weapons (bokken sword and jo staff), precise fundamentals, empty-hand techniques, and direct corrections. The schedule begins Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, continues Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and concludes Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All experience levels from beginners to advanced practitioners are welcome. Space is limited, so reserve your spot online in advance.
