Join us for a Musical Conversation with the Mariah Parker Quartet. This Indo Latin Jazz ensemble focuses on original compositions which draw inspiration from the musical cultures of Brazil, Cuba, India, Spain, and contemporary jazz. The quartet consists of Mariah Parker (piano), Sascha Jacobsen (bass), Jim Hurley (violin) and Kendrick Freeman (drums). The group is characterized by the spirit of musical collaboration and creative openness. Sponsored by Music at Kohl Mansion, the San Mateo Public Library Foundation, and the San Mateo Public Library.
