Let’s Make Apple Pie and Pie Dough

Join Baking Arts & Coffee for a 145-minute Apple Pie & Pie Dough class with instructor Rosaura Rivera on Sunday, December 20, starting at 2 p.m. Learn how to make a great pie crust, from preparing and rolling the dough to assembling and baking a pie. During class, students will make and bake a mini double-crust fresh apple pie to take home. While the pies bake, students will make pie dough from scratch to take home. The recipe is designed to create a rich, flaky crust with a crisp bottom. Freshly made pie will also be available to sample during class. Each student will leave with a finished mini apple pie and enough homemade dough for a full-size pie, which can be baked later or frozen.
