The City of San Mateo invites you to attend a community meeting on train horn noise hosted by Caltrain representatives. The meeting is on Thursday, January 30, at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers, located at 330 W. 20th Avenue. Learn about efforts to reduce train horn noise while adhering to federal and safety requirements and get detailed answers to your questions. We look forward to seeing you there!

* Please note: The January 30th meeting, hosted by Caltrain representatives, will focus on Caltrain’s efforts on reducing train horn noise throughout San Mateo. The City’s effort for Train Quiet Zone is not the main focus of this meeting. Potential improvements at the Villa Terrace and Bellevue Avenue crossing are still under investigation and will be discussed at a future City Council meeting later this year.*
