20th Anniversary Celebration + Cafe Grand Opening at the San Mateo Public Library

Celebrate a major milestone with us as the San Mateo Main Library marks its 20th anniversary with a special day of music, dance, and community festivities! On Saturday, August 29th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 55 W 3rd Ave, festivities kick off at 11:00 AM with the grand opening of PLUR Coffee’s newest cafe location on the 3rd floor. At 12:15 PM in the lobby, welcome back the San Mateo Buddhist Temple Taiko drummers. Starting at 1:00 PM in the Oak Room, enjoy cultural performances every 20 minutes including an Ukulele Fun Jam with Charlie Chin and Victor Labrador, Grupo Folklórico de SMHS dance performance, a jazz and swing piano recital by local student Aarohi Kher, and a Persian musical performance by Amir Etemadzadeh and Mint Tea Productions.
