Central Bark (at Central Park)

A Pup-tacular Day!
We are excited to announce our Central Bark event, taking place in Central Park, San Mateo, on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from Noon-3PM.

Celebrate our furry friends with an afternoon packed with vendors, fun activities and lively entertainment. Proceeds from this event support San Mateo PAL youth programs.

San Mateo PAL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 1997 in collaboration with the San Mateo Police Department and the San Mateo Parks and Recreation Department to keep our kids on track, in school and away from negative and troubling behaviors by engaging youth with police officers to help create a safer community and promote the healthy physical, social, and psychological development of our youth.

Dog Adoption
Looking for a new best friend? Cooper’s Dream Animal Rescue will be attending Central Bark with a few pups that are available for adoption.

Raffle
Prizes will range from pet-oriented services and a few non-dog owners!

Raffle tickets will be on sale starting at 12:00pm and end at 1:45pm. Winners will be announced at 2:00pm.

Dog Contests
Participate in a fur-iendly contest. A few categories are listed below:

Best Bark
Best Trick
Best Look Alike (dog & their owner)
Three (3) winners receive a gift basket filled with dog toys, treats and a $25 gift certificate for Lazy Dog Restaurant.

All contestants receive a free dog meal from Lazy Dog Restaurant.
